Role and Responsibilities:
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Analyst, who will work as part of a team who will ensure the quality and reliability of our software through thorough testing. Responsibilities include evaluating software processes, creating test strategies, executing test plans to identify and address defects before product releases. This role, require attention to details, improve user satisfaction by delivering error-free software that enhances our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely feedback.
- Perform manual tests to ensure the user experience is smooth and intuitive.
- Develop and execute automated tests using tools like Espresso, XCUI, Selenium, QTP etc.
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans.
- Create detailed and well-structured test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
- Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Assess the performance of applications under various conditions to ensure they can handle expected user loads.
- Conduct usability tests to ensure the applications are user-friendly and meet the needs of the target audience.
- Perform black box and other forms of testing to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through rigorous testing processes, covering various testing stages.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and manage testing activities to ensure timely project execution.
- Develop and refine testing processes for new and existing products to ensure quality.
- Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest in test strategies, bug life cycles, and STLC processes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Mobile testing, Web testing and Machine learning is must.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Possess a deep understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in testing mobile, web & AIML based applications.
- Skilled in using software testing tools such as Postman for API testing.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience in JIRA for managing projects, tasks, and issues related to software bugs.
- Experienced in using SQL for data manipulation and testing purposes.
